Matt Thomas

Matt always had a huge love for trance and started his Dj career back in 1999 after he and a few of his mates got the Dj bug, although now one of the only ones left truly dedicated to Dj'ing. Matt has gone from strength to strength from playing his style of uplifting, euphoric, hard trance at freepartys in his early years as a Dj to getting residencies at: JUSTICE, 140 BPM, CAPTURE and GENESIS to name but a few.
Matt relies heavily on his technical ability and showmanship to get dance floor jumping and to this day you are guaranteed to see Matt bouncing around behind the decks bringing his unique flavour to any club he plays at.

Matt's influences over the years have been Armin van burren, Cosmic gate, Dave joy, Dark by design, Flutlicht and Tiesto and influential producers for him have been the likes of Jay walker, S.H.O.K.K and Flutlicht among others. He has also regularly supported some of the scenes biggest stars like: BK, Amber D, Guyver, Tidy boys, Phil Reynolds, Lab 4, Dark by Design, Vandall and many more.
He also partners up with fellow Dj Glenn Hutton to form the duo ''THE CAPTURE BOYS'' blending both their unique styles of mixing into one unforgettable show of talent.

His past sets include Critical Mass Tour/ Lift Off @ The Purple Turtle, Camden, N. London, 140BPM@ Jammos Nightclub, Tenby, Harder @ Escape, Bounce @ The Escape Club, Brighton, Justice/Tidy Two Tour @ Carew Air Field, Pembrokeshire, Justice/Frantic Tour @ Jammos Nightclub, 140BPM @ Jammo's Nightclub, Tenby Friday May 2004, Capture Tour @ The Purple Turtle Camden July 2004, Inner Rhythm@ Jammo's Tenby Apr 2005 plus many more.

Matt currently has a residency at Fresh Impact and is a regular fixture at Inner Rhythm’s new hard dance event Eurythmic.
After many years of playing other peoples tunes Matt is now eager to get into the studio and start creating his own tracks, and with his proactive attitude towards the whole scene there is no doubt that something good will come of his love for music.
